1959

On 6 July, Cuisines Schmidt moved to Lièpvre, France’s north-eastern region and started manufacturing Heidi sideboards.

1975

Cuisines Schmidt launched a range of kitchen units and established a bespoke front panel manufacturing service. This year also marks their first catalogue published featuring standard, prestige, and classic furniture ranges.

1986

The mothership has decided to expand Schmidt operations to the UK by launching its first showroom, new sales approach, and publicity.

1998

Schmidt is the first French kitchen manufacturer awarded the ISO 9001 quality certification.

2004

Cuisines Schmidt launched a range of customised furniture and storage spaces in Türkismühle, Germany, which are tailored to individual consumer needs through custom manufacturing, finishing, and profiling lines.

2008

Cuisines Schmidt becomes the N° 1 French kitchen manufacturer on the French ranking.

2014

Cuisines Schmidt opens a factory in China by signing a joint-venture agreement with the S.S.K., which already has a network of 1,200 furniture showrooms.
